Excellent prospect for any ranch type events. Great mind. Started heading the roping dummy. He will work a flag like a cutter. Will be shown this summer in Ranch Horse classes including Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail. He has been hauled on cow catchings but not roped anything live yet. (May 2026). Does all the basics (leads, loads, ties, handle feet, bathe, saddles, hobbles). Excellent trail horse that watches where he puts his feet and is thoughtful about crossing obstacles. He will lead or follow and isn’t bothered by crowds. Lot of trail miles under his belt. He will ride in halter or snaffle or bosal and started in a curb bit. He knows his leads and has a good start on his spins. No sliding stop yet but an excellent stop, stop. Stops of seat or reins or the word “whoa”. He will “pick you up” off of anything meaning he has been trained to sidepass over to you on a fence or rock or back of the truck so you can mount. Open gates easily off of him.
