A Family Ranch with a Passion for Good Horses

We’re Carrilea and Stacy Wilson, and Circle W Livestock is our family-run ranch in Courtland, Alabama. Established in 2015, Circle W brings together our love of good horses, cattle, and the ranch way of life.

We raise a select number of AQHA foals and offer young prospects and riding horses. Our breeding program pairs proven sires with seasoned mares, chosen for their minds, soundness, and ability under saddle as well as their pedigrees. Trainability and versatility guide the crosses we choose.

Ranch horse events are at the heart of our program. Our own experience in showing, cutting, cattle work, and trail riding shapes what we look for in a horse—and what we hope to offer people who enjoy riding and competing. We like getting to know buyers and discussing each horse’s personality, handling, and stage of training alongside their goals.

Our Life with Horses & Livestock

Alongside our horses, we keep a small cow/calf herd, raise registered Border Collies, and produce beef and pork for our family. Caring for livestock is part of our everyday life and keeps us grounded in the practical qualities we appreciate in our animals.

When time allows, we enjoy showing in ranch horse and cow horse events, including AQHA, ARHA, and NCHA competition. There’s nothing quite like a good cow run to get your heart racing! We also enjoy cattle work and riding the Colorado mountain trails. There’s nothing quite as peaceful as cool mountain morning!
