Proven Bloodlines. Working Mares. Willing Minds.
At Circle W Livestock in Courtland, Alabama, we raise select AQHA foals and offer young prospects and riding horses for ranch and western performance homes. We value a horse with a willing mind, a sound body, and the versatility to enjoy a useful life in the arena and on the ranch.
Our breeding program pairs proven sires with working mares, keeping trainability, soundness, and athletic ability at the heart of our decisions. Ranch horse events are our main focus, with individual horses also offering prospects for cutting, reined cow horse, roping, or barrel racing. Whether you’re bringing along a youngster or looking for a horse to ride and compete, we welcome a conversation about your goals.
Life at Circle W
Our horses are part of everyday life on our family ranch. Alongside our horse program, we run a small cow/calf operation and work with our Border Collies. Our own riding includes ranch horse events, cutting, cattle work, and time on the trails—experiences that shape what we value in the horses we raise and select.
The photos below share some of that life, from the show pen to gathering cattle in the Colorado mountains. Follow us on Facebook and YouTube for the horse updates, videos, and and more from Circle W.
